Artist's Description
This is a depiction of the B-17 Flying Fortress, one of the most successful bomber aircraft of World War 2. This group is in the middle of a bombing run, and are being attacked by German fighters. The formation is also encountering aerial flak which will damage or destroy an aircraft if it hits it.
